This is a physician-supervised program that approaches weight loss from several fronts, all specifically tailored to your unique weight problems. A doctor-patient relationship is established that provides consultation, education, medication, motivation, diet and exercise all carefully designed around your weight goals. Your progress is strictly monitored by the physician and other medical professionals on our staff in this one-on-one program. All you have to do is “follow the doctor’s orders” and that’s easy to do when you know what’s good for you. Are you ready to lose 20 pounds? 120 pounds? Well, let’s get started!
Three-Phase Program
The three phases of this program are designed to burn fat, lose inches and stop your cravings for starches and sweets by helping you develop lifestyle changes. When you commit to this program, you will achieve---and maintain----your ideal weight. But there is much more to it: you will actually change the way you think about food. Throughout the course of the program, you will be surprised to find yourself automatically making healthy food choices and your cravings for sweets and starches will be under your control. A thinner you will emerge, but an even better result will be a significant improvement in your overall health. Our physician-supervised program is a safe and sensible way to change your life and everything in it.
Phase 1: Acute Weight Loss
During this first phase, the program is designed to burn body fat quickly, increase your energy, and decrease your hunger and cravings with noticeable results within the first week. (Phase 1 lasts 7 days.)
The first phase of our program is both exciting and challenging. You will really be changing your eating habits this week. The appetite suppressants will keep you energized and hunger-free, and at the end of this phase, you will be delighted to see you have lost 5, 10 or more pounds.
For these 7 days, you will eliminate everything from your diet that is not a lean protein source or sugar-free beverage. The purpose is to acheive a state of ketosis which signals that your body is burning fat for energy and that your carbohydrates have been depleted. Meanwhile, the physician-supervised medicinal therapy goes to work for you. The injection of vitamins and supplements will ensure your body receives all necessary nutrients to keep you at your energetic best. The appetite suppressants (if prescribed by your plan) will help you avoid hunger pangs and cravings. You willl receive a New Patient Guide that details what foods you can eat this week.
Phase 2: Gradual Weight Loss
This is the transforming stage of the Proven Weight Loss program. Here you will begin to change habits and patterns, and the pounds will continue to disappear, a gradual process that offers lasting results.
Your commitment should be fired up after the excitement of losing many pounds so quickly last week during Phase One! You will stay in Phase Two until you reach your goal, your healthy weight. For some, this is as short as 1 month, for others it could be 3 or more months. The length of this phase depends on how much you desire to lose and also, how commited you are to sticking to the program. During this phase a nutritionist introduces more food back into your diet and you will receive instruction and encouragement on establishing a beneficial exercise routine. You will be learning new patterns that will help you keep off the pounds on a permanent basis. Gradually the doctor will decrease your appetite suppressant therapy, to the point when you no longer rely on it. Your New Client Guide will detail your acceptable foods.
Phase 3: Weight Loss Maintenance Phase
This is the final phase of our weight loss program. Now that you've reached your ideal weight, you will learn all the secrets of maintaining it. With the lifestyle changes you have made, you are now equipped with a workable diet plan that you can live with ... and lose with ... for the rest of your life.
In Phase Three, you reap the rewards of all your hard work. You are now as thin as you want to be and you feel better than you've felt in years. How great is that!
During this phase, the nutritionist will finish fine-tuning your personal weight management program. You will be given tools, information and resources necessary to maintian your ideal weight for as long as you live. There will still be weekly check-ins at first, where you can continue to receive vitamin injections, and have your vital health measurements taken and assessed.
At some point, you will no longer need us at all. We will have done our job, and you will be in total control of your weight. Some clients stop back every month or so to check in (and to show off, rightfully!). We hope you are one of them!
