Eddie A. Ariss, M.D., Rejuvenesce Med Spa Medical Director, Proven Weight Loss Physician
"I am truly excited to be involved in the prevention of illness, as well as the improvement of clients' self-image by helping people lose weight and become healthier," says Dr. Ariss. A graduate of the med school at Michigan State University, Dr. Ariss has spent the last 8 years practicing emergency medicine in the Tampa Bay area. He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Medicine, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and is board certified in Family Medicine. He is passionate and competent when caring for the acutely ill, as well as for those devastated by the long term effects of obesity. "Now, instead of treating obesity-caused diseases, I have the opportunity to help prevent them. I'm enjoying helping people change their lives," he says.

Katie Kaffai, Spa Director
"I hope to make a difference in how people experience beauty and health," Katie says. Her commitment to healthy lifestyles attracted her to offer this weight loss program at the Med Spa. She is determined to help people live longer, healthier lives by achieving and maintaining their ideal weight. As a former working model, Katie also knows the other wonderful benefits of not being overweight: more energy, more self-esteem, and much more fun clothes shopping.
Gail Lohman, Medical Assistant
Gail is a woman who practices what she preaches. Gail's medical experience is only one reason she is a Medical Assistant for our Proven Weight Loss program. What makes her especially qualified for this position is the commitment to health and nutrition that she exemplifies in her personal life. Gail's been an active triathlete for nearly 10 years and has competed in the Ironman World Championships. She is a certified USA triathlon and cycling coach who trains others to reach their fitness goals. She races regularly as an active member of the St. Pete Mad Dogs triathlon club. When she talks to our weight loss clients about the value and how-tos of exercise, people listen. Along with dispensing expert advice, Gail is warm, personable and supportive of clients on the weight loss journey.
Julie Kaffai, Medical Assistant
Julie's interest in nutrition and passion for exercise makes her a natural motivator for our clients. As medical assistant, she goes the extra step to help clients make permanent lifestyle changes so that lost weight stays lost. An avid walker and bicyclist, Julie encourages walking as the simplest, most effective way to burn calories. She conducts regular seminars on nutrition and understanding food labels here at Rejuvenesce, believing that informed consumers will become thin consumers. Julie served with the 50th Medivac in the U.S. Army, with tours in So. Korea, Kosovo and Macedonia. Julie is knowledgeable, compassionate and more than determined to see all our clients achieve their goals.
